They are currently engaged by a range of law firms and blue-chip clients on high value and complex disputes. The team provides quantum, delay and engineering expert witness and related advisory services and is looking to strengthen its quantum team further with an experienced Associate Director. This role will be a client facing role and provides a development path and platform to push on as both an expert witness and leader in the business.
Responsibilities:
Undertaking expert witness work either as the named expert or supporting other named experts in international and domestic arbitrationForensic quantum analysis of claims and contentious issues arising on major projectsWorking in teams to advise high profile clients on major projects often handling high value and complex disputesContributing to business development and promoting the companyHelping to mentor, guide and develop team members to reach their potential.
Helping to contribute to a dynamic and loyal team environmentRequirements: Degree qualified ideally with additional qualifications / affiliations in construction lawIdeally MRICS or MCIArb qualifiedExperience of supporting / being the named expert witness or with aspirations to be an expert2 years + experience of working as a quantum dispute consultantIdeally 5 plus years of construction related industry / site experienceStrong knowledge of quantity surveying and construction cost managementBroad experience across a range of construction/engineering projectsCritical thinker with excellent attention to detail and good problem solving skillsGood written communication and presentation skillsComfortable working both independently and in a multidisciplinary teamPositive minded aspires to work to their best standard and encourages others to do the sameThis is above all a very nice company who enjoy their work and seek someone similarly enthusiastic to join their team.
