Responsibilities

  • Undertaking expert witness work as the named expert or assisting other named experts in arbitration
  • Forensic quantum analysis of claims and contentious issues on major projects
  • Collaborating in teams to advise high-profile clients on large, complex disputes
  • Contributing to business development and promoting the company
  • Mentoring and developing team members to reach their potential
  • Fostering a dynamic and loyal team environment

Key requirements

  • Degree qualified; additional construction law qualifications/affiliations desirable
  • MRICS or MCIArb qualification desirable
  • Experience as supporting or named expert witness, or aspiration to be an expert
  • 2+ years of experience as a quantum dispute consultant
  • 5+ years of construction-related industry/site experience desirable
  • Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and construction cost management
  • Broad experience across diverse construction/engineering projects
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
