b Overview /b p In this leadership role, you guide delay expert services for high-value construction disputes, supporting a broad client base including tier 1 law firms and insurers. You will shape strategy within the UK Dispute Resolution and Forensics leadership team, drive business development, and mentor consultants. You’ll work closely with construction lawyers and clients to deliver expert testimony and advisory services on complex projects. This is a senior opportunity in a respected firm with unique scope. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide Expert Witness testimony and support for high-value disputes, investigations, and arbitrations /li li Lead and develop the Delay Expert team in the UK /li li Contribute to business development and domestic marketing efforts /li li Collaborate with construction lawyers, contractors, and investors to deliver client solutions /li li Assist in development and management of consultants /li li Represent the firm in strategic leadership discussions and client engagements /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Degree or professional qualification (ideally with construction law qualifications) /li li Strong technical aptitude with progression across roles /li li Experience working closely with construction lawyers, contractors, investors /li li Experience in cross-examination is desirable /li li Knowledge of contracts, construction processes, and construction law /li li Background with main contractors in building, infrastructure, oil gas, or power sectors /li li Excellent verbal and written English communication skills /li /ul ul li confident communicator /li li articulate and persuasive /li li relationship-building /li li expert witness /li li construction law /li li contracts knowledge /li /ul
