Director - Expert Witness (Delay & Disruption) Paris, France β¬130,000 to β¬170,000 basic plus incentives An important client of ours with an exemplary name in high value expert witness and forensic services is looking to recruit an additional senior level Delay Analyst and Expert Witness to help extend its local offering in Paris.
A growing player in this specialist area of consultancy, its presence in France is strengthening and because of this it proves to be an interesting time to join the business.
Responsibilities Reporting to the Managing Director, providing Expert Witness services to a range of clients in the region and internationally in respect to planning and delay related claims.
Providing high level delay related advice and analysis in respect to major projects in building, engineering, infrastructure and energy.
Working on behalf of main contractors, law firms and employers on high value multi million pound disputes, litigations and arbitration.
Establishing new work streams through internal and external business development Recruitment, mentoring and development of new staff members.
Involvement in business strategy and helping to champion Delay Analysis in the region.
Requirements Relevant degree and qualifications (ideally FCIArb / MSc Construction Law, LLM or similar)Experience of delivering expert witness and dispute resolution services in mainland Europe.
Someone who has worked on multimillion pound disputes representing main contractors or client businesses or directly for law firms.
Either an Expert Witness or senior level professional from a Planning / Delay Analysis background who has supported Experts extensively.
Ideally part of your career should stem from being on site delivering projects High level of technical aptitude and analytical mind Strong French language skills and report writing capability, someone who feels they can testify in French A team player, who can fit in well with a great bunch of people All applications and enquiries treated strictly confidential.
