Work schedule: The role requires out of office hours work, including weekends and bank holidays, on a flexible rota basis. Working pattern: Waking Nights – 22:00 to 08:30. The successful candidate must be routinely available to work the times listed above and flexible to cover other shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the running of all aspects of accommodation services to ensure full compliance with health and safety, housing and accommodation legislation, and the wellbeing and security of 181 residents (students aged 16-18).
- Provide 24/7 site support cover, including emergency call-outs, sickness and holiday cover.
- Undertake First Aid at Work training.
- Participate in site support as required to maintain service coverage.
Requirements
- Over 18 years of age.
- Must apply for an enhanced DBS check and complete induction training before shift allocation.
- Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays on a flexible rota.
- Possess qualifications in Maths and English Levels 4-9 (GCSE Grades A-C) or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good level of administration, organisational and IT skills.
- Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults.
