What we are looking for:
- Excellent knowledge of the government policy within the curriculum with a thorough understanding of evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment.
- Familiar with Plumbing, Gas and Green Skills provision and have experience of supporting teams in the implementation and development of these or similar Building Services programmes.
- Excellent teaching and/or pastoral skills with a history of good student outcomes and the ability to act strategically.
- Excellent communications skills and innovative ideas around curriculum development, and a collaborative approach to working with other departments.
Duties/responsibilities:
- Support the Head of School and lead in the department provision to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Deliver approx. 7.5 hours teaching a week in your curriculum areas and this will be undertaken alongside your management responsibilities, including developing timetables and working with the curriculum teams to ensure systems, processes and opportunities are in place for your subject areas.
- Ensure that your team deliver high quality education and training that promote and assure Nescot core values to protect and enhance the College’s reputation.
