Lecturers in Early Years and Health & Social Care will work within Nescotâs simulated nursery environment and a simulated Health Hub, using interactive technology resources such as VR Headsets, Reality Works Real Care Babies and other equipment to provide realâlife learning experiences and opportunities to apply theory to practice. The role commences September 2026 and may be fullâtime or partâtime.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous recent experience of teaching and/or assessing Health and Social Care / Early Years
- Ability to adapt learning strategies to meet studentsâ needs, teaching academic and industry skills, and use interactive learning technologies
- Qualification up to degree level of relevant subject areas is preferred; industry experience is essential
- Teaching experience at Health and Social Care / Early Years levels 1, 2, 3 and T Level in Education and Childcare and T Level in Health
- Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and enhanced DBS clearance
Main Duties for the Lecturer in Health and Social Care / Early Years
- Delivering learning experiences that are engaging, challenging, and informed by professional practice
- Attend meetings as required to contribute to decisionâmaking and develop productive working relationships within various teams
- Develop existing and/or new courses together with other members of the team
