Responsibilities
- Support the Head of School and lead the department provision to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Deliver approximately 7.5 hours of teaching a week across your curriculum areas while managing timetables and working with curriculum teams to implement systems and processes.
- Ensure your team delivers high quality education and training that promotes and protects NESCOT’s core values to protect and enhance the College’s reputation.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of government policy within the curriculum with a thorough understanding of evidence‑based teaching, learning and assessment.
- Familiarity with Plumbing, Gas and Green Skills provision and experience supporting teams in the development of Building Services programmes.
- Excellent teaching and/or pastoral skills with a history of good student outcomes and the ability to act strategically.
- Excellent communication skills and innovative ideas around curriculum development, with a collaborative approach to working with other departments.
