As a key part of the People and OD team, you will provide essential high-quality, confidential business and administrative support across the team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of People and HR processes, supporting meetings, managing data and systems, and acting as a first point of contact for routine queries.

Main duties of the job:- Working collaboratively across the People and OD Team to meet deadlines and priorities
- Maintaining and updating the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) and producing reports
- Monitoring and responding to the HR mailbox, resolving queries or escalating where appropriate
- Co‑ordinate job evaluation process
- Supporting staff benefits processes
- Support learning and development, and training administration work
- Providing comprehensive administrative support for meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes and action log
- Managing inboxes, diaries, records and document management system
- Drafting correspondence, reports and presentations, often of a sensitive or confidential nature
- Incident reporting and data collation
About us: Our Integrated Care Board (ICB) is the largest in the country. The ICB is responsible for ensuring that high quality and safe health services are accessible to all of our communities. It has a wide range of functions, including promoting integration of health and care services, improving peoples health and well‑being, reducing health inequalities.
Job responsibilities:- Update and maintain the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system.
- Monitor and respond to queries in the HR mailbox, using judgement and analysis to signpost appropriately; respond to basic queries and, where required, escalate complex queries.
- Support all staff benefits applications e.g. lease cars, cycle to work, childcare vouchers, home electronics.
- Generate ESR reports and maintain ESR records.
- Co‑ordinate job evaluation process.
- Provide comprehensive business support for the planning, preparation and delivery of high‑level formal meetings and/or professional events (sometimes complex), including accurately recording proceedings and preparing draft minutes/action logs in line with SOPs.
- Provision of a first‑class, comprehensive business support service to the People and OD Team, including drafting correspondence, reports, data and/or other documents to a consistently high standard which may include work of a sensitive and confidential nature.
- Qualifications: RSA/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience: Significant experience of providing project/business level support
- Demonstrable level of experience of Microsoft Office package including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and One Note.
- Experience in an HR Office, knowing when it is appropriate to provide advice and when to signpost.
- Experience in the provision of HR advice and guidance on People Policies.
- ESR experience
- Experience of working in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
- Experience of TRAC - Recruitment
- Previous experience of supervising / managing staff.
