Location: The Lumen, St James' Boulevard, Newcastle upon Tyne, various ‘spoke’ offices throughout the North East and remote working arrangements.

Salary: N9 £46,142 – 49,282 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Join our Culture, Creative Industries and Sport team and play a leading role in shaping impactful projects across the North East. As Project Manager, you’ll drive forward strategic programmes that deliver against our shared objectives, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with the North East Culture, Creative Industries and Sport Strategic Framework and related investment plans. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the region’s cultural ambition and growth.

You will coordinate and lead project planning, review and delivery, working closely with a wide range of partners across culture, the creative industries and sport. From establishing effective project governance to facilitating steering groups and task-focused workstreams, you’ll ensure all stakeholders are engaged, informed and represented. Your ability to build strong relationships and manage complex activity will be key to ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards.

In this dynamic role, you will also support strategy development, interpret relevant local and national policy, and provide clear, evidence-based advice to managers. You’ll report progress through the Combined Authority’s governance structures and help drive improvements that enhance outcomes for residents.
