Our Purpose

To provide scheduled waste and recycling collection services for residents of North-East Lincolnshire, working efficiently and effectively to ensure value for money and meet the core values of the local authority.

Your Role

Your responsibilities include supporting staff wellbeing and managing absences, handling performance, conduct, and capability issues, arranging meetings, preparing and circulating documents, note-taking, dealing with enquiries, and monitoring actions from minutes. You will investigate corporate complaints according to NELC procedures and contribute to gathering and analyzing performance data, maintaining attendance and training records. Flexibility is required as you may deputise for Team Leaders during holiday and sickness cover, involving flexible start and finish times.

About You

The ideal candidate will support the waste services team, assisting the manager and Team Leaders in developing operational plans and ensuring continuous improvement. Strong communication skills, a keen willingness to learn, relationship-building abilities at all levels, and proficiency in IT, maths, and English are essential. An enthusiastic interest in staff and public engagement, listening skills, and stakeholder collaboration are highly valued.
