We are recruiting for a Public Health Nurse in our Health Visiting Team on a full time (37.5 hrs) fixed term (2 Year) basis. What will your day look like?
You will be undertaking health assessments and reporting any concerns or problems back to the practitioner for health education and health promotion as decided by senior staff. You will share a caseload of children aged 0‑5 years (including children with special educational needs and disabilities), taking the lead from public health colleagues where need is identified. You will contribute to the realisation of the outcomes for North East Lincolnshire, in particular to enable all people in our communities to feel safe and to have good health and wellbeing, and to realise their potential through skills and learning. This will be achieved through the effective delivery of a range of support to young people and families in the locality, in order to improve their health and wellbeing and reduce the need for statutory intervention.

Please note: This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at a level appropriate to the post. It is a contractual essential requirement that the successful candidate is registered with the DBS Update Service. You have 30 calendar days from the "date of issue" printed on your standard or enhanced DBS certificate to register for the DBS Update Service using the certificate number.
