What’s the role all about?
This ICT Technician role is a key part of the ICT & Digital service at North East Lincolnshire Council. You’ll be part of a 13-person team, working closely with Senior and Advanced Technicians to deliver high-quality operational support. The role is central to maintaining and improving ICT services across the council, aligned with our ICT strategy and commitment to continuous service improvement.
What will your day look like?
Each day in this role brings something new. You’ll be the go-to person for delivering outstanding customer service, supporting users with a wide variety of ICT needs. Whether you\'re diagnosing and resolving issues with software, hardware, networking, or telephony, or collaborating with colleagues to tackle more complex technical challenges, your input will be vital. You’ll also play a key role in shaping the future of our ICT services by gathering and analysing data to inform policy and system improvements. While the role is primarily office-based, there will be opportunities for occasional home working, depending on the needs of the service.

Work arrangement
This role is a blended working role (the duties of the role will require a blend of mainly office-based working due to the front-facing nature, with occasional home working in line with needs of the service).
