You will contribute to the realisation of the outcomes for North East Lincolnshire, in particular to enable all people in NEL to feel safe and be safe, to have good health and wellbeing and to realise their potential through skills and learning. This will be achieved through the effective delivery of a range of support to young people and families in the locality, in order to improve their health and wellbeing and reduce the need for statutory intervention.
Main duties of the job:
- You will work with a Specialist Childrens Public Health Nurse on a caseload and will agree work to be undertaken with the Specialist Childrens Public Health Nurse within the team.
- You will be undertaking health assessments and reporting any concerns or problems back to the Practitioner for health education and health promotion as decided by the senior staff.
- You will share a caseload of children aged 0-5 years (including children with special educational needs and disabilities), taking the lead from public health colleagues where need is identified.
Through partnership working, the Public Health Nursing Team contributes to the realisation of the outcomes for North East Lincolnshire, in particular to enable all people in North East Lincolnshire to feel safe and be safe, to have good health and wellbeing and to realise their potential through skills and learning. This will be achieved through the effective delivery of a range of support to young people and families in the locality, in order to improve their health and wellbeing and reduce the need for statutory intervention.
