Bring your skills, experience, and passion for digital innovation to a service committed to transforming clinical care. Outstanding patient care depends on people who can empower and support teams across the authority — and that’s where you make an impact.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable individual to play a key role in supporting our frontline practitioners and driving forward service improvements through smart, digital solutions.

This role is central to ensuring the safe, high-quality delivery of healthcare services across the local authority. As part of the Clinical Assurance and Quality Team, you’ll help drive excellence in patient care by strengthening clinical governance, advancing digital enhancements, and supporting smarter, safer ways of working. From risk management to incident reporting and continuous quality improvement, you’ll play a key part in shaping modern, reliable, and forward-thinking healthcare services.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of healthcare by embedding cutting-edge digital solutions into everyday clinical practice. You’ll join a forward-thinking team working on high-profile projects that directly influence patient safety, quality of care, and clinical outcomes.

  • Drive robust, efficient clinical governance processes that support the safe delivery of care across the local authority.
  • Help ensure NELC meets all regulatory and statutory requirements while maintaining strong internal clinical governance standards.
  • Champion collaboration by working closely with stakeholders throughout project planning, development, and implementation to ensure solutions truly meet user needs.
  • Support project delivery, alongside the Clinical Assurance and Quality Manager, keeping milestones on track and ensuring successful execution of project plans.
  • Contribute to digital transformation by delivering project work within the Clinical Assurance and Quality Team and supporting wider digital strategy initiatives.
  • Assist in developing clinical policies and guidelines that promote the safe and effective use of technology.

You’ll thrive in this role if you can balance multiple priorities with ease, bring sharp attention to detail, and maintain a strong focus on quality. You’re a confident, friendly communicator who works well with everyone — from colleagues to external partners — and you bring a positive, can-do attitude to team life. Experience in digital health or IT transformation is a real asset, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical teams. A commitment to developing yourself and others, paired with a genuine passion for innovation and improving patient safety through technology, will set you apart.

Because this isn’t just a job, it’s your chance to shape safer, smarter, more innovative services. You’ll join a supportive, forward-thinking team that embraces digital enhancements, values fresh ideas, and champions service improvement. Every day, you’ll make a meaningful impact on how care is delivered.

If you thrive on structure, take pride in delivering high-quality work, and enjoy getting fully involved in meaningful challenges, this could be the perfect fit for you.
