We are looking for a compliance assistant to join our social care commissioning team on a full-time, permanent basis. This fast-paced role requires initiative and planning to support the children's commissioning team in finding appropriate homes and education places for vulnerable children and helping to keep them safe.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and administering systems to monitor compliance
- Issuing contracts on behalf of the local authority and monitoring returns
- Issuing and tracking agreements issued by the local authority to external providers
- Working in partnership with finance colleagues to ensure value for money in relation to placements
- Noting and escalating quality assurance concerns
Qualifications and skills:
- Experience of working in a high-pressure team environment
- Effective communication and ICT skills
- Ability to build good working relationships across teams to ensure compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage own workload and meet tight deadlines
