What\'s the role all about?
As a Finance Practitioner, you\'ll provide assistance across a range of financial services, including budgeting, reporting, and systems support. Your work will directly contribute to the council\'s ability to deliver effective and efficient services. You\'ll help maintain financial integrity, support system development, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
What will your day look like?
You will support budget holders with financial planning and monitoring, produce accurate financial data, investigate queries, and maintain the integrity of financial systems. Your role includes training colleagues, managing reconciliations, and supporting budget preparation and year-end processes. You will also review financial returns and grant claims, developing your skills in a fast-paced environment.
