We are looking for a passionate, confident programme leader to join us on a part time (18.5 hours) basis as a Building Futures Coordinator. North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking a Building Futures Coordinator to play a pivotal role in delivering our innovative Building Futures Programme, a compassionate, evidence-informed offer designed to support parents whose children are no longer in their care. This is a highly valued role at the heart of our Children's Services transformation agenda, contributing directly to the Council Plan and our ambition to reduce repeat care proceedings, strengthen families, and improve outcomes for children.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the Building Futures Programme across North East Lincolnshire
- Provide expert guidance, training and quality assurance to the wider workforce and partnership
- Ensure the voice of children and families is central to all planning and delivery
- Contribute to strategic transformation, performance oversight and service development
Qualifications
- Has significant experience working with vulnerable children and families, including those affected by care proceedings and trauma
- Is confident delivering direct work, leading programmes and influencing practice across a complex system
- Has strong analytical, leadership and communication skills
- Is passionate about prevention, family stability and achieving better outcomes for children
- Can work effectively across organisational boundaries and build trusted relationships with partners
- Has a strong commitment to children's rights, reflective practice and continuous improvement
- Recognised expert with relational practice skills and confident leadership, analytical insight, and the ability to influence at all levels
