Our Purpose
The Anti-Social Behaviour team in North East Lincolnshire Council follows a clear victim charter, which is fully compliant with Home Office principles and guidelines. This new Anti-Social Behaviour coordinator post will be identified as a victim’s champion and will enhance the offer working closely with colleagues in Humberside Police ensuring that all victims are offered a bespoke package of practical interventions and signposted to specialist services where identified. This post will be responsible for the development of new partnership pathways to fully understand how we develop victim risk and proactively investigate cases of Anti-Social Behaviour.
The Role
As an Anti-Social Behaviour Coordinator, you’ll collaborate closely with Humberside Police and various organisations committed to reducing anti-social behaviour. Your role will be dynamic and solution-focused, proactively addressing incidents and acting as the go-to expert for all ASB-related matters. You’ll be a single point of contact for borough-wide themes, offering advice and coordination on issues ranging from minor disturbances to complex cases. Day-to-day, you’ll immerse yourself in local communities, developing diverse initiatives to prevent anti-social behaviour and fostering community-wide problem-solving initiatives.
About You
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of working in a role relating to crime and disorder, particularly Anti-Social Behaviour. You will have a thorough understanding of the statutory and regulatory frameworks that guide the delivery of services aimed at reducing Anti-Social behaviour. The successful candidate will have the ability to interpret data and provide analysis of emerging issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for this role.
