Salary Range: Grade 2, SCP 4-5, FTE salary £25,185.00 – £25,583.00, pro rata salary £23,393.00 – £23,762.00
Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment
Working Type: Full Time (37 hours, 41 working weeks, 48.299 paid weeks)

Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Job Description
Northern Education Trust, The Blyth Academy is seeking to appoint a Receptionist. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering administrative support and provide a professional and efficient reception service for the academy. Main duties of the role will include; answering all incoming calls to the academy and dealing with them efficiently and effectively. You will be greeting and dealing with visitors to the academy, ensuring all visitors are recorded and are issued with correct ID lanyards following the safeguarding procedures. You will be responsible for organising appointments, maintaining an academy diary with all external guests.
