Teacher of KS3 and KS4 Mathematics
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Berwick Partnership of Schools. The role will initially be at Tweedmouth Community Middle School where you will teach pupils in years 6, 7 and 8. At the end of this school year (31st August 2026) you will transfer to Berwick Academy to take up a full time, permanent position teaching maths in KS3 and KS4 with KS5 development.
This role offers the opportunity to play a central part in the extended transition of staff and students between the schools during the current academic year. The successful applicant will join Berwick Academy at an exciting stage in its development. The maths department is already performing strongly and continues to improve, and the school is looking forward to the significant benefits of a new building and modern facilities. The ability to teach up to A level would be an advantage but training support would be available to support this.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated individual who can inspire pupils to achieve highly and progress extremely well irrespective of starting points. You will have enthusiasm to promote an atmosphere of positivity and motivation within your classroom. You will also be proactive and be committed to improving teaching within the department and hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS.
