Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Teacher of Design Technology to join Durham Academy. We wish to appoint a committed and highly effective teacher to teach and lead across our key stages.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
- Maintain the highest quality of monitoring and evaluating while improving the standard of achievement for all students.
- Teach Design Technology effectively and create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all students.

- Degree level education
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS3 and KS4
