We have an exciting role on offer within Customer Services as a Customer Advisor.

About Us

The role of Customer Advisor will be operating from The Customer Centre as a face to face service to customers and operating a phone service in the Contact Centre. The Customer Advisor would help provide a service to many different Service Areas across Middlesbrough Council efficiently and effectively as possible. This involves dealing with any issues that might arise.

With an average of 350 plus phone calls being received daily and numerous face to face contact with customers, the Customer Advisor must ensure that they behave in a professional manner, and demonstrate the ethos of the Council’s Customer Charter. They must ensure effective working relationships with service areas across the Council to best meet their service needs.

The Customer Advisor must ensure that their personal performance targets are achieved. They must follow all procedures and policies that are in place in relation to customer services.

Please note, this is a part time role working 22.5 hours per week.
