Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will supervise swimming pools, changing/locker rooms, sports halls and squash courts.
- Other duties include assisting swimmers in difficulty, setting out and storing equipment as needed and promoting the centre's activities and events.
- Although the working hours include evenings & weekends, we especially welcome applicants who are available during daytime Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
- RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard 10th Edition Award
- Ability to work with a full age range of customers
- Good understanding of a wide range of sports and leisure activities
- Physical fitness and capability to perform heavy lifting
- Experience of working in a team and acting on own initiative
- Formal coaching qualification, together with some teaching or coaching experience would be an advantage
