The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will supervise swimming pools, changing/locker rooms, sports halls and squash courts.
  • Other duties include assisting swimmers in difficulty, setting out and storing equipment as needed and promoting the centre's activities and events.
  • Although the working hours include evenings & weekends, we especially welcome applicants who are available during daytime Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard 10th Edition Award
  • Ability to work with a full age range of customers
  • Good understanding of a wide range of sports and leisure activities
  • Physical fitness and capability to perform heavy lifting
  • Experience of working in a team and acting on own initiative
  • Formal coaching qualification, together with some teaching or coaching experience would be an advantage
