Reporting To: Director of PLACE (People, Learning and Community Engagement) working directly with the CEO, Executive Team, Trust Directors, Headteachers, Central Team, Trustees, academies and a range of external partners
Academy: Central Team, based at Pennyman Primary Academy, with work across the Trust and at external locations as required

Tees Valley Education is looking for an ambitious, proactive and creative Trust Projects, Partnerships & Communications Lead to join our Central Team.
This is a varied and exciting role at the heart of the Trust, offering the opportunity to work alongside senior leaders and a wide range of partners to help develop and deliver projects that make a tangible difference to children, families and communities.
Working particularly closely with our Director of PLACE, you will help turn strategic ideas and priorities into well-planned, successfully delivered projects. You could be coordinating a new PLACE initiative, bringing partners together for an event, researching an emerging opportunity, developing an impact report, creating content for our digital channels or helping senior leaders communicate our work to local, regional and national audiences.
You will build relationships with colleagues and partners, keep projects moving, coordinate events and activities, capture evidence of impact and help us tell the story of Tees Valley Education and PLACE in engaging and creative ways.

The Trust Projects, Partnerships & Communications Lead will play a key role in turning Tees Valley Education's priorities and ambitions into action.
Working closely with the Director of PLACE, Executive Team and Trust leaders, the postholder will coordinate a portfolio of PLACE and Trust-wide projects and workstreams, translating agreed priorities into clear plans and ensuring actions, milestones, risks, dependencies and outputs are effectively managed through to completion.
A significant part of the role will involve developing and coordinating relationships with schools, community organisations, businesses, public bodies, funders and other partners. The postholder will support partnership activity, events, visits and engagement opportunities and help capture the evidence, learning and stories that demonstrate the impact of our work.
The role will also help strengthen the profile and influence of Tees Valley Education and PLACE through high-quality communications. This will include creating engaging written and visual content, publications, presentations and campaigns; supporting the Trust's website, social media and digital channels; and identifying opportunities to share our work with local, regional and national audiences.
The postholder will provide high-quality project and executive support and administration through research and horizon scanning, briefings, reports, presentations, project documentation, stakeholder coordination and impact reporting. They will make confident and responsible use of digital technology, including Artificial Intelligence, to support research, creativity, communication and efficient ways of working.
The postholder will support the PA to the CEO with agreed operational aspects of the Central Team, helping to ensure effective administration, coordination and smooth day-to-day organisation across the Trust. This will include, supporting the effective financial administration of projects and Trust activity, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, monitoring agreed budgets and maintaining accurate records in line with Trust procedures.
This is a role with significant variety and opportunity for initiative. The postholder will take delegated responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of agreed projects and workstreams, while strategic accountability and final decision-making will remain with the relevant Executive or Trust leader.
