About this Role

Applicants should possess relevant teaching assistant qualifications or equivalent, a high level of basic skills and be able to work as part of a team. They should also be prepared to support children within the classroom and work with groups or individual children with additional needs from a range of classes as required.

Applicants should be:

  • Be highly motivated, forward thinking and committed to high quality curriculum provision in a caring Christian ethos.
  • Have a high standard of spoken and written English.
  • Be able to demonstrate sensitivity whilst working with others and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom.

We require a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Is an experienced, outstanding classroom practitioner.
  • Has experience delivering high quality phonics interventions.
  • Has excellent relations with children of all ages and can deal with situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Has an excellent knowledge of the curriculum across all key stages.
  • Works effectively as part of a class, key stage and whole school team.
  • Can contribute to the wider school community.
