About the role

Together for Children – Sunderland are looking to recruit a suitably experienced and skilled Team Manager to manage and support our Foster with North East regional recruitment hub.

You will be responsible for managing and supervising social workers, hub officers and journey guides. You will work closely with regional colleagues to ensure a consistent and meaningful offer for all prospective foster carers.

The successful candidate must be able to evidence a good understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance, as detailed within the job description.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. We will also carry out an online internet search for information that is publicly available online that might suggest that you are not fit to work with children or young people.

• Have previous management experience
• Have sound knowledge of Fostering Services
