South Tyneside Council's Asset and Property Services maintains and improves over 17,000 Council homes. We are looking for a Support Officer to join a dedicated team delivering compliance where our culture really is all about our people and our customers.

At South Tyneside Council, we are passionate about delivering high-quality services. An exciting opportunity has arisen where you will be part of the Property Services and Asset Team support team. You will be based in the Repairs/Empty Homes Team and deal with our customers by:

  • Arranging and amending appointments
  • Providing high-quality administrative support
  • Filing
  • Raising and completing invoices
  • Processing timesheets
  • Co-ordinating the collection of incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Ensuring urgent matters are promptly referred and dealt with

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual and will provide you with any training and support required to fulfil the role. So if you feel you have the right attitude, skills and business acumen to join an upbeat and passionate team we would love to hear from you.

This position will be based at Middlefields, South Shields however you must be flexible and prepared to travel to various locations around the Borough when required.
