The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 Β£ per year.

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs? Consett Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Officer to join our supportive and ambitious team.

Working closely with the SENCO, you will play a key role in supporting students with SEN to achieve their full potential. You will:

  • liaise with parents, carers and external agencies
  • contribute to the development and review of support plans and EHCPs
  • deliver targeted interventions
  • help ensure that students receive the highest quality support both in and out of the classroom

We are looking for someone with experience of working with children and young people with SEN, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to inclusion and student success.

Please note that we operate a probationary period of 4 months across all jobs in the Trust. You will receive a comprehensive induction to support you to successfully pass your probation.
