Working 37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days. Actual pro-rata salary is £27,703 - £29,601 per annum (pay award pending). Permanent Contract.
North East Futures UTC is located in central Newcastle in the newly redeveloped Stephenson Quarter. The building replicates a business environment with state of the art facilities.
You will work with students and parents/carers to contribute to improving whole school attendance outcomes, reduce barriers to attendance and persistent absence, and raise achievement. The role will involve:
- Undertaking home visits
- Inputting and analysing student attendance data
- Undertaking administration duties relating to attendance
- Implementing strategies to improve attendance
We are looking for a colleague with knowledge of policies and statutory guidance on student attendance, effective communication skills, and the ability to work with students, parents/carers, and external agencies.
