Do you want to join Northumberland County Council as a Social Worker? There is currently a part-time post available within the Triage team based at the Front Door service, providing a Statutory Social Work Service to the children and young people of Northumberland, offering a variety of experiences and opportunities within the role.
Using the Signs of Safety model, Northumberland is a family and child focused Authority, with strong and effective management and leadership (Ofsted reported!). You will be part of a well-established triage team linked to the MASH and responsible for dealing with contacts/referrals made to the Front Door and completing a robust triage/MASH assessment within timescales in relation to the children and young people identified within these. We are looking for social workers with a passion for safeguarding children.
