Highways Services are looking for a Maintenance Manager. To assist in ensuring the timely completion of works operations so as to achieve the optimum balance of customer and employee satisfaction together with achieving the Services’ financial objectives.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
- To assist in ensuring the effective and efficient management of staff and operatives in accordance with the County Council’s Policies and Procedures.
- To organise and control resources required on a day to day basis for those projects assigned to the postholder.
- To identify and plan resource requirements and to prepare project programmes of work as necessary and liaise with the Area Manager accordingly.
WHAT WILL I NEED?
- NVQ Level 3 Supervisors or equivalent or in a closely related discipline
- Experience in the management of works of highway maintenance and construction.
- Experience in the application of Health & Safety legislation and procedures on highways sites.
- Experience of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or similar
