We have an exciting role on offer within our Community Learning service as a General Teaching Assistant (Personalised Learning Programme).
The purpose of this post is to assist and support teaching and learning in our Personalised Learning Programme at Lingfield College.
The successful applicant will:
- Prepare classroom as directed for lessons (including resources and equipment) and to clear away after.
- Support teacher in managing pupil behaviour and reporting difficulties as appropriate.
- Supervise and support pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning.
- Establish good relationships with learners and have experience in dealing with students with behavioural issues.
- Promote the inclusion of all pupils and encourage pupils to interact with each other and engage in activities led on by the teacher.
- Promote Heath and Wellbeing and comply with all policies and procedures including health & safety, prevent duty, equality and diversity and learner support.

The Community Learning Service was inspected in November 2024 and was rated good with areas of outstanding.
