Lynnfield is at a very exciting point in its history. In 2025 we joined Lingfield Education Trust and are now looking for our perfect Deputy Headteacher to work alongside our experienced Executive Headteacher.
This is a key appointment for the school. As the school’s new deputy headteacher, you and the wider senior leadership team will lead the school into its next stage of development – and success! Your practice, ethos and approach to school life will shape the lives of our children and the school that we are building.
Key responsibilities
- You are an excellent teacher and role model to other staff – you will be responsible for teaching and learning across the school
- You can lead others – you will be responsible for leading a team of phase SENDCos
- You are kind. You lead by example and will embody our school motto: 'Nurturing hearts, Inspiring minds: Changing futures.'
- You are committed to a team approach – working hard together for the greater good of the school. There is no such thing as 'that's not my job' at Lynnfield!

The post is subject to a successful DBS clearance (certificate of disclosure form from the Disclosure and Barring Service) and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before an appointment is confirmed.
