South Tyneside Council is seeking a Social Worker to join the Children Cared For – Team 2. The role offers a SCP 31–36 career grade with pay £41,771 to £47,181 per annum, inclusive of retention payments and subject to review.
The team emphasises relational and restorative practice to support children and families, with guidance from a Practice Manager and a full support structure. Ideal candidates will work within a two-team setup, aiming to keep caseloads to 17 children maximum.
