Location: Northumberland Skills, Blyth Campus and community locations across Northumberland
Salary: Band 6 £31,537 - £34,434 | Full-time (37 hrs, flexible)

Are you passionate about helping people access the right support to achieve their employment goals? We're looking for a Skills and Employability Triage Adviser to join our Connect to Work team and play a key role in helping residents access tailored employment and skills support across Northumberland.

In thisimportant role, you will:

• Act as the first point of contact for referrals into Connect to Work and Supported Employment programmes.
• Assess individual needs, barriers and aspirations to ensure participants are directed to the most appropriate support pathway.
• Provide information, advice and guidance to residents seeking employment or skills support.
• Build strong relationships with partner organisations, employers, community groups and referral agencies.
• Lead engagement and outreach activity to increase awareness of services and generate referrals.
• Develop and maintain referral pathways across health, community and employment services.
• Support individuals facing barriers such as disability, health conditions, mental ill health, neurodiversity and long-term unemployment.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor referral activity and contribute to quality and performance targets.
• Produce engaging promotional materials and utilise social media and community engagement activities to attract participants.

You will bring excellent communication and relationship-building skills, experience of working in employability, advice and guidance or support services, and a person-centred approach that helps individuals navigate services with confidence and dignity. You will lead on social media, marketing and engagement activities to generate referrals, develop strong referral networks, and play a pivotal role in ensuring programme performance targets and key performance indicators are achieved.

A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle arerequired. You will travel regularly across Northumberland and occasional out-of-hours working may be required.
