Salary Range: Grade 3, SCP 7-8, FTE salary £27,274.00 - £27,709.00, pro rata salary £24,096.58 - £24,480.90

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Working Type: Full Time - 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. 45.942 paid weeks.

Base: The Blyth Academy, Chase Farm Drive, Blyth, NE24 4JP

Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Northern Education Trust, The Blyth Academy is seeking to appoint organised, efficient, and dedicated Inclusion Administrator to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Inclusion Coordinator, helping to ensure our students receive the assistance and resources they need to thrive in their learning.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • SEND & Inclusion Support: Maintain and update the SEND register, provision map, and inclusion sections on the academy’s MIS and ICT systems.
  • Document & Policy Management: Word-process and update Individual Education Plans (IEPs), annual reviews, and SEND policies. Collate, copy, and distribute reports for SEND students.
  • Meeting & Review Administration: Organize, coordinate, and take confidential minutes for review meetings and annual reviews. Collate staff feedback and circulate required paperwork to relevant parties in a timely manner.
  • Communication & Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for parents, Local Authorities, and professional agencies via telephone, email, and letter.
  • Operational Support: Provide administrative assistance for tuition sessions, special exam arrangements, referrals, interventions, home visits, and staff timetables. Assist with the administration of the SEND budget.
  • Compliance & Safeguarding: Maintain strict adherence to GDPR, Data Protection regulations, and academy safeguarding procedures at all times.
