The council has an exciting opportunity to work within the Regeneration and Housing Directorate's Property Built Asset Service as an Asset Officer for Capital Maintenance Projects.
The role will be primarily responsible for the development and project management delivery of capital maintenance programmes and Corporate Asset Management plan which contributes the Council's Corporate objectives.
You will also be required to
- Assist in the delivery for the team's asset surveys in line with the government / best practice requirements.
- Working with education and corporate finance officers in monitoring funding streams.
- Provide a Project Management role and work closely with the council in-house design team in the preparation of feasibilities, contractor procurement and the construction phase.
We are looking for someone with
- Proven project and asset management experience.
- Knowledge of Building Regulations and Planning requirements
- A qualification in Building construction and asset management.
