An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprenticeship Trainer in Children’s Residential to join our Health, Education and Creative team reporting to our Apprenticeship Manager. As an Apprenticeship Trainer in Health and Social Care with Stockton Riverside College you will be responsible for the delivery, support, monitoring and assessment of the Level 2 to Level 5 Adult Care Apprenticeships and Level 3 - 5 Residential Childcare Apprenticeships.
The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience within social care settings and residential childcare settings along with a high level of organisational skills and motivation to deliver a range of health and care apprentices. The successful candidate will need to have a high level of drive and enthusiasm, a commitment to high standards and an exceptional approach to innovative teaching and learning within an apprenticeship remit.
You will also be required to have a full driving license and access to a vehicle. It is essential that the candidate holds an assessor award qualification or be willing to work towards an Assessor qualification, and preferably an Internal Quality Assurance/verification qualification along with subject specific qualifications at a higher level and experience of recent working practices within the health and social care sector.

Schedule Hours of work are flexible. Staff need to meet the needs of learners but are able to work flexibly to accommodate this.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure by the DBS.
