We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for the Hair and Beauty industry to join our dynamic Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy team at New College Durham.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced salon environment and supporting the development of future industry professionals. As a Hair and Beauty Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our commercial-standard training salons, supporting both staff and students.
The successful candidate will assist with the preparation of practical teaching sessions, maintain salon equipment and stock levels, support reception and client booking activities, and help ensure the highest standards of health, safety and customer service are maintained throughout the department.
We are looking for someone with recent experience within the Hair and/or Beauty industry, excellent organisational skills, and a positive, customer-focused approach. A commitment to supporting students and contributing to an engaging learning environment is essential.
