Our marketing and member communications team is a dynamic, strategic and creative delivery partner embedded across all areas of our business. We're looking for a collaborative marketing campaigns lead to join this friendly team. This role is an excellent opportunity to be part of a passionate, hard-working, results-driven group. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing end-to-end digital campaigns, as well as supporting broader sales and marketing activities. As the marketing campaigns lead, you'll be central to reporting and reviewing performance and analytics, helping us make strategic, data-driven decisions. Ensuring we continually improve our marketing performance and deliver a positive return on investment in delivery. The focus is on promoting and growing our membership and commercial product use. It's a key role, supporting the alignment of our sales and marketing efforts alongside our membership, international and property teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Develop, implement and manage end-to-end multi-channel digital marketing campaigns that nurture and deliver leads into our sales funnel.
  • Ensuring timeliness, effective budgeting and alignment with our membership growth plans.
  • Managing digital content and updates via WordPress, ensuring a smooth and effective user journey.
  • Running and optimising Google Ads campaigns with a firm grasp of search and display.
  • Using Google Tag Manager to set up and manage triggers, tags and custom conversions.
  • Setting up and reporting on campaign performance using GA4 and other analytics tools.
  • Collaborating across teams to ensure campaigns are aligned, well-executed and data-driven.
  • Driving and measuring the performance of email marketing, SEO, website optimisation and automations.
  • Collaborating across teams to develop targeted content for paid and organic social campaigns, including ads, carousels and video.
  • Manage paid and organic social media campaigns, through LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, optimising content, monitoring budget, ROI and KPIs.
  • Testing and optimising marketing tactics for lead nurturing processes and member acquisition, utilising marketing automations.
  • Support the continuous improvement of our membership acquisition strategy, working closely with our sales team.
  • Champion social media usage among the wider Chamber team to elevate visibility and engagement across various digital platforms.
  • Support the Chamber by representing it at industry events as required, to facilitate lead generation and member acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including maths and English
  • Bachelors degree in marketing or business; or equivalent, incl. Experience.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience planning and executing high-impact, multi-channel digital campaigns to deliver ROI.
  • Hands-on skills in Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other paid media platforms.
  • Proficient with WordPress and web content management systems.
  • Experience setting up and managing Google Tag Manager and event tracking.
  • Proficient in GA4 and ability to make data led decisions.
  • Experience with paid LinkedIn campaigns, specifically on Lead generation, building audience lists on LinkedIn (matched audiences).
  • Ability to manage internal relationships and expectation across various levels of experience and seniority.
  • In-depth knowledge of paid LinkedIn Marketing Solutions and lead generation strategies.
  • Proficient with design softwares including Canva and Adobe.
  • Attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • IT skills including knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams etc.)

Other requirements

  • Must live in the North East.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and locations across the region.
  • Ability to travel to Aykley Heads, Durham and Newcastle city centre, alongside occasional off site working.
  • A sense of drive, enthusiasm, hard working and reliable.
