If this sounds like you, and you’re seeking a rewarding job role, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Teacher to join our education staff team. Working independently and as part of a team, you will support children and young people to access highly personalised programmes of study, with the aim of helping them to achieve their individual aspirations. You will need to be enthusiastic, able to use your own initiative, have a drive and resilience for what is often a demanding role; and you must be people-centred with good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with both staff and pupils. While you must be qualified and have teaching experience, it is not essential for candidates to have previously worked with autistic individuals – all we ask is that you are hard-working, willing to learn and committed to promoting the positive development of children and young people. We are currently recruiting for 2 full time Teachers (M4-M6). Working independently and as part of a team, you will support autistic and neurodivergent children and young people to access highly personalised programmes of study in one of the Society's specialist schools. This will include planning and delivering lessons and resources for individuals or small groups of pupils both in school and outside the classroom, including community visits. A PGCE qualification is an essential criteria of the role.

This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. As such it will be necessary for an enhanced Disclosure submission to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
