About the role

You will support autistic and neurodivergent adults living in our residential homes to access the community, encouraging them in all aspects of their daily lives and helping them to live as safely and independently as possible. Working independently and as part of a team, you’ll support adults to access a range of activities in the community, tailored to the needs of the individual, ranging from developing independent living skills to enjoying new experiences.

About you

While we value experience, it is not essential to have previously worked in health and social care, or with autistic people. Our comprehensive induction, training and mentoring will give you all the skills and tools you need to thrive in your career. All that we ask is that you are a good team player with a can‑do attitude, drive and resilience for what can be a demanding role. You should be friendly and approachable with good communication skills, enabling you to build positive, trusting relationships with the adults you support.
