About the role:
Working independently and as part of a team, you will support autistic and neurodivergent young people aged 16-25 to access highly personalised programmes of study at our specialist Further Education college. The ideal candidate would have a background in catering and be willing to cover catering activities.
As an FE tutor, you will have a qualification (Level 5 diploma/PGCE or equivalent).
About you:
While you must have teaching experience, it is not essential to have previously worked with autistic individuals. Our comprehensive induction, training and mentoring will give you all the skills and tools you need to thrive in your career. All that we ask is that you are willing to learn, able to use your initiative, and have a drive and resilience for what can be a demanding role. You should be friendly and approachable with good communication skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with both staff and pupils.
