The Governors of Southridge First School are delighted to invite applications for the advertised post of Higher-Level Teaching Assistant in our school.
Key Responsibilities
- We are seeking an outstanding HLTA with experience of covering PPA, who can work flexibly with children across the first school age range.
- The post will involve delivering interventions and full classroom cover of PPA, whilst establishing productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model, and setting high expectations.
- A minimum of a Level 4 qualification and experience of working at primary level is essential.
Candidate Profile
- The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the primary curriculum and its assessment.
- They must be able to work collaboratively and flexibly with our staff and share the school’s vision and core values.
- They will be confident and capable of covering classes.
Contract Details
- This is a permanent contract with 14 hours per week (8.30am-4pm x 2 days) based upon 190+5 days.
