Rockcliffe First School is seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to join the Rockcliffe Family at our welcoming and successful school. Our motto is Shining Brightly Together in the heart of our local coastal community. We have incredibly keen and thoughtful children and have a committed and creative staff team. We strive to help our children become successful learners, confident individuals, and responsible citizens.
You will:
- Provide lunchtime supervision in our hall and playground
- Lead games and activities in the playground
- Help children with lunch choices
- Work under your own initiative and as part of a team
- Be flexible, resourceful and proactive
- Provide pastoral and first aid care as needed
- Demonstrate effective behaviour management
- Foster excellent relationships with children and staff
This post is fixed term for one year but could become permanent for the right candidate. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. As such an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks as appropriate.
