Caretaker

Tyne and Wear Learning Trust and the Headteacher of Whitburn Village Primary are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible full time Caretaker to become part of our supportive, friendly and committed team.
The successful candidate will be expected to ensure the school site is safe, secure and that the buildings and grounds are maintained, clean and equipment is maintained to a high standard. They will also supervise cleaning staff within the school to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times.
An experience of premises caretaking, preferably in a school or similar environment is essential. A trade would be very advantageous.
Key duties will include, but are not limited to:

This is an all-year-round position with annual leave encouraged to be taken in school holidays.
Visits to school can be arranged by appointment with the Headteacher, Mr C Mackley and are recommended. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.
