We have an exciting role on offer within our Stronger Communities as a Waste Operative 2.
About Us
We are seeking suitable applicants for our Alley Cleansing Programme in the role of Waste 2.
Do you enjoy working outdoors? If so, and you can demonstrate practical knowledge of cleansing and maintaining outdoor environments, this might be the role for you.
While training may be available, experience or qualifications in the following areas are desirable:
- Use of handheld machinery such as pedestrian street sweepers, strimmers, hedge cutters, air blowers, etc.
- CPC driver qualification.
- Needlestick training.
- Asbestos awareness.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Manual Handling training.
A full driving licence and CPC certification are essential for this role.
Please note the working hours are Tuesday to Friday, 6:45 am – 4:30 pm.
