Salary Range: Grade 4, SCP 10-12, FTE salary £27,694.00 – £28,598.00, (pro rata salary £23,145.00 – £23,901.00)
Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment
Working Type: 35 hours, 39 weeks, 45.942 paid weeks
Base: Thornaby Academy, Baysdale Road, Thornaby, TS17 9DB
Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
Role and responsibilities
Thornaby Academy has an opening for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with small groups and individual students across Key Stage 3 and 4. Successful candidates will promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with special needs under the direction of a class teacher or SENDCO.
