The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 Β£ per year.

The role sits within the Council's Parking Service, working in the Notice Processing team. The Technical Support Officer will manage Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) appeals issued against vehicles parking in contravention of a parking restriction and driving in bus lanes. The role also includes processing permit applications and statutory correspondence associated with parking legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Review and decide appeals submitted by motorists, ensuring compliance with legal deadlines
  • Process statutory documents and manage permit applications
  • Maintain accurate records and databases to support the Parking Service
  • Assist the debt recovery process and respond to public enquiries relating to parking appeals
  • Keep PCN notice processing databases up to date

No formal qualifications are required – training will be provided.
